The Orb
How you ask and change the business in voice or text.
The Orb is the main way to ask Nodo. It does not search other people’s listings. It talks to your business.
What it does
- Reads sales, open tables, stock, menu, shifts.
- Proposes changes (a price, a stock drop, a note) for you to confirm.
- On the floor, it can take an order if the active connector is the business.
How it gets in
You speak or type. The system reads the intent, ties it to live business data, and returns an answer or an action. If the action moves money or stock, confirm it on screen.
One connector at a time
The Orb does not mix tools. You pick the connector — today, POS — and you speak in that context. Another connector, when it exists, activates the same way: one, not several at once.
Where it lives
On iPad and desktop, next to the till. On the owner’s phone, to ask from elsewhere. The web is the same system.
