Stocks
Buy tokenized NVIDIA, Apple, Tesla and more with USDC, USDT, dollars or euros. They stay in your wallet. Only for people outside the United States.
With Nodo you buy and sell tokenized US stocks from the app, with the money you already have: USDC, USDT, dollars or euros. The stocks sit in your wallet, in your name, and you can sell them whenever you want.
They are Coinbase's tokenized stocks on the Base network. Each token is backed by a real share held by a regulated custodian.

You can buy fractions: there is no need to buy a whole share. Some trade less than others: on a large buy their price can move a little more. You always see how many you get before you approve.
What you pay with
| You pay with | How it works |
|---|---|
| USDC | A direct buy, in seconds. |
| USDT (on Base) | Nodo turns it into USDC and buys in the same step. |
| Dollars (USD) | Your dollar balance moves to your wallet as USDC and the stock is bought. One slide. |
| Euros (EUR) | Same as dollars: your euros become USDC and the stock is bought. |
When you sell, you get USDC in your wallet. From there you can change it to dollars or euros in your accounts.
How to buy
- In the app, open Stocks from home.
- Tap the stock you want. You see its price and its chart for today, the week, the month or years back.
- Tap Buy, choose what you pay with and type the amount.
- Check the price per share and how many you get.
- Slide to confirm and approve with Face ID or a passkey.
The stocks show up in your wallet in seconds. You get an email and an in-app notice with the amount, what you paid and the price per share.
Price
The price comes live from a liquidity pool on Base (Aerodrome), in USDC. Before you confirm you see how many shares you get. If the price moves more than 1% before it goes through, the trade doesn't happen and your money stays in your wallet.
The pool trades at any hour, also when the New York stock exchange is closed. Outside market hours the price can drift from the exchange's. On large buys the price rises as you buy; split very large orders.
Fees
| Fee | |
|---|---|
| Buying or selling with USDC or USDT | 0.5% on the Libre plan, included in the price you see before you approve. The pool’s own fee is in the price too. |
| Buying with dollars or euros | The conversion of your balance to USDC, as in your accounts plan. |
| Network | Nodo pays the network fee. |
Everything is shown before you confirm.
Where your stocks are
- In your wallet, not at Nodo. The tokens are at your Base address. Nodo doesn't hold your keys and can't move them.
- You see them in your balance. The Stocks screen shows what they're worth, how much you're up or down since you bought, and your history.
- If Nodo stopped working, your stocks stay at your address. You can export your wallet and use them from any app that supports Base.
Good to know
- Only for people outside the United States. Tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons or to people in restricted or sanctioned countries.
- You get the share price, not shareholder rights. Buying from the pool gives you the price exposure. Shareholder rights, like voting or redeeming the token for the real share, need verification directly with Coinbase.
- Investing carries risk. A stock's price can go up or down, and you can lose part of what you put in. Nodo doesn't give investment advice.
- Network trades are final. A confirmed buy or sale can't be undone; to get out, you sell.
