Introduction
Vision and mission
Why Nodo exists and what it solves on the floor.
The problem
Running a floor often means jumping between a till, a notebook, WhatsApp, a spreadsheet, and whoever closed last night. The owner is not always there. The team needs something simple. The numbers arrive late.
Vision
That the business can be asked and changed — on the floor and from elsewhere — without the system getting in the way.
Nodo aims to be the layer where the owner speaks and the floor answers: sales, stock, menu, staff. It starts with restaurants. It is designed for other kinds of commerce and, when needed, for a system built to measure.
Mission
Build a system where:
- the team can charge and serve without learning a maze,
- the owner can see the day from a phone,
- fiscal invoicing, where the country requires it, is not a separate product,
- and the same core can serve another category tomorrow.
Principles
- The floor first. The till and the room lead; everything else supports them.
- Talk to the system. The Orb is not decoration; it is how you use Nodo.
- One owner, one plan. The team comes with the business.
- Truth in the docs. We document what is live. The rest is marked as coming.
