Why Nodo exists and what it solves for a shop.
The problem
Selling in a chat often means sending photos, repeating prices, and taking payment without knowing the order will arrive. A buyer who does not know the shop does not want to let go of the money before they receive it.
Vision
That a shop has its page, that the order arrives written out, and that the money can stay held until delivery when the buyer asks.
Nodo is that page, Protecta when it is needed, and the wallet with USDC P2P on Base. The page can be the standard one or one made for that shop.
Mission
Build a system where:
- the shop publishes products with a photo and a price, with no monthly fee and no commission on the WhatsApp order,
- the buyer fills the cart on their own,
- Protecta holds the payment until delivery, without Nodo being the seller,
- USDC moves in the wallet of the person who signs in, and P2P uses an on-chain escrow per trade,
- and a shop can have a page designed for its brand.
Principles
- The shop first. The page and the order lead.
- Protecta and P2P, separate. One holds an order’s payment. The other trades USDC between people.
- A designed page does not change the deal. The shop is still the one that sells.
- Truth in the docs. We document what is live. The rest is marked as coming.
