Introduction

What Nodo is

A system to run the business. It starts with restaurants. It is not stuck there.

Nodo is not a listings marketplace and not a matcher between strangers.

It is the system for the floor: the owner sets it up, the team charges and serves, and either can talk to the Orb to read or change the business.

The idea

  1. You register the business — name, country, tax id if it applies, tables.
  2. You set the menu, inventory, and shifts.
  3. On the floor you charge on iPad or desktop; the ticket hits the printer.
  4. From a phone, the owner asks how sales or the close are going, without standing at the till.
  5. Where the country allows it, you connect electronic invoicing.

What exists today

SurfaceRole
Business (POS)Tables, menu, inventory, staff, tickets, reports. First category: restaurant.
OrbVoice or text. Reads and changes the system within your role.
ConnectorsThe business connector is first. One active at a time in the Orb.
Web, iPad, iPhone, desktopThe floor operates; the owner also checks in from a phone.
CustomIf the category does not fit, a version can be built for that business.

What it is not

  • A catalog so strangers can find you.
  • A stand-in for the tax office or your accountant.
  • A product that charges the plan inside the iPhone app. The plan is paid on the web.

Product navigation is the Orb, the business, and the account. Legal terms live under Legal.
