Wallet and P2P
A USDC wallet on Base, and person-to-person USDC trading with an escrow contract for each trade.
Wallet
When you create your Nodo account you can open a USDC wallet on the Base network, or connect one you already have. From there you receive, send, and review your history.
- Your keys are not on Nodo. The wallet is created with Privy and you sign every transaction.
- USDC on Base only. Other tokens or networks sent to that address do not show as balance.
- Nodo does not hold your balance. The USDC sits in your address on a public network.
P2P
P2P lets you buy and sell USDC with other people in the community, for pesos, dollars, euros, or Swiss francs.
- The seller posts an offer with a price and payment methods.
- When someone takes the offer, the seller locks the USDC in an escrow contract created only for that trade.
- The buyer sends the money by bank or remittance directly to the seller and marks it as paid.
- The seller confirms receipt and releases the USDC to the buyer.
If there is a disagreement, either side can open a dispute. A Nodo arbitrator reviews the chat and receipts and decides. Meanwhile, the USDC stays in the contract.
