How to use Nodo

From registration to checkout, and how to talk to the Orb.

1. Sign in

Create an account (Apple, Google, or whatever is available). Without a business you see the account and settings. POS appears when you register a business or accept an invite.

2. Register the business

The owner picks the country, the name, and a tax id if it applies. In restaurant, tables are created. Registration is free. A trial starts; the plan is paid later, on the web.

3. Set up the floor

Load the menu and inventory. Invite the team and set shifts. Connect a printer (Bluetooth or an IP on the floor network) if you want tickets to print on their own.

4. Charge

On iPad or desktop you open the table, add dishes, and charge. The ticket can print by itself. The owner sees the same business on a phone — to ask, not to replace the waiter at rush hour.

5. The Orb

Hold or speak: “how are we doing today?”, “take two chicken off the stock”, “who closes Thursday?”. Check what the Orb proposes before you confirm a change that moves money or inventory.

6. Account

In settings: language, appearance, notifications. If you are the owner, Billing sits next to sign out: trial days, plan, and on iPhone a link to renew on the web.
